The intensive will be limited to 8 participants to allow personal attention and coaching. At the end of the week, scholarships will be given to 3 dancers to further work with MCGDC.

This week-long intensive will serve as an introduction to Marie-Christine Giordano's approach to modern dance technique and choreography. Each day will consist of a 2 hours structured technique class followed by 90 minutes of repertory and choreographic investigation. It will be followed by an audition for Apprentices positions on Saturday August 15.

Dancers can choose to attend both classes, or only the morning technique classes. 

The MCGD Summer Intensive is open to dancers with a BA and at an advanced level in ballet and modern dance.
